It is with great pleasure and pride that we celebrate the academic occasion during the eighth international conference of ISCSG Association at Hyderabad on March 14, and 15. It's a Pride event because we can showcase to the world that India is leading the world in the field of Regenerative Medicine due to constant support from the government of India through Drug controller who has approved seven different diseases to be treated with Stem cell therapy products for Indian patients. Since 2020 till date Burger's disease, Osteoarthritis, Diabetic foot ulcers due to Arterial blocks, Corneal Blindness, Urethral stricture & Aesthetic uses of Skin and Hair regeneration using Stem Cell Therapy products are possible only in India.

Autoimmune Chrons disease, Disc degeneration, Retinal blindness due to macular degeneration, Liver diseases are all undergoing clinical trials and will soon be treated successfully with approved Stem cells. While Umbilical cord Stem cells are used for Hematological diseases, Bone Marrow mesenchymal Stem cells are approved to use for above mentioned diseases. With CAR-T cell therapy and Gene Therapies also available for cancers and rare diseases, India will no wonder become the favoured number one medical tourism destination due to the increased expertise and favourable cost advantages Indian health care provides. While world watched India emerge as champion of Health Care universally during the COVID pandemic by providing Vaccines free of cost to several struggling countries, Stem cell Therapy and other regenerative modes like Platelet rich plasma, cellular immunotherapy can help patients from world over recover and regenerate from their sufferings. This international conference will be an occasion & opportunity to learn, share and innovate on these cutting-edge technologies using Biotechnology. Long Live the spirit of Indian Stem cell study group Association members and my best wishes to the Hyderabad organisers team lead by Dr Krishna Subramanian for successful conduct of the conference and workshops.

Organizing Secretary's Message

Dr. Krishna Subramanyam

Organizing Secretary, ISCSGCON 2026

Regenerative medicine began with a simple yet profound question: Can the body heal itself if given the right biological signals? From this foundational principle emerged stem cell science—once theoretical, now transformative—reshaping how we understand tissue repair, disease modification, and functional restoration.

Over the past two decades, regenerative medicine has evolved from experimental laboratory observations to evidence-based clinical applications. Mesenchymal stem cells, platelet-derived products, gene modulation, and tissue engineering have moved steadily from bench to bedside. Today, these therapies are no longer confined to research centres; they are influencing real-world outcomes in orthopaedics, Obstetrics & gynaecology, ophthalmology, sports medicine, and beyond. The present era is defined by translational science—where safety, standardisation, ethics, and regulatory compliance are as critical as innovation itself.

ISCSGCON 2026 stands at this pivotal intersection of past insight, present validation, and future possibility. The conference is designed to revisit core biological principles, critically appraise current clinical evidence, and explore emerging frontiers such as gene-edited cells, scaffold-based regeneration, exosomes, and AI-guided regenerative strategies. Equally important is the focus on pragmatic clinical integration—what truly works, for whom, and under what conditions.

As we look ahead, the future of regenerative medicine lies not in isolated breakthroughs, but in responsible convergence—of biology, engineering, data science, and clinical wisdom. ISCSGCON 2026 is envisioned as a platform for this convergence, fostering dialogue between researchers, clinicians, and policymakers.

We invite you to be part of this evolving story—where science meets healing, and innovation meets responsibility.

The 8th International Conference of the Indian Stem Cell Study Group (ISCSG) is successfully convened on March 14–15, 2026 at Hyderabad, bringing together leading scientists, clinicians, academicians, and industry partners in the rapidly evolving field of regenerative medicine.

This multidisciplinary conference will serve as a vibrant platform for dialogue and collaboration, highlighting advances in stem cell biology, translational research, orthobiologics, tissue engineering, and clinical applications. Eminent national and international faculty will deliver keynote lectures, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, fostering exchange of knowledge across specialties including orthopaedics, neurology, cardiology, oncology, and bioinformatics.

The scientific program is carefully curated to balance cutting-edge research with practical insights. Sessions on ethical frameworks, regulatory pathways, and payment reforms underscore the importance of aligning innovation with patient safety and equitable access. Poster presentations and young investigator awards encourage an active participation from early-career researchers, reinforcing ISCSG's commitment to nurturing the next generation of scientists.

The conference also feature industry exhibitions showcasing novel biomaterials, cell culture technologies, and digital health solutions, reflecting the synergy between academia and enterprise in advancing regenerative therapeutics.

The two-day deliberations will conclude with a consensus on strengthening collaborative networks, promoting interdisciplinary training, and enhancing India's global visibility in stem cell and regenerative medicine research. The organizing committee extends gratitude to all delegates, sponsors, and volunteers whose contributions ensured the success of this landmark event.

The 8th ISCSG Conference reaffirm Hyderabad's role as a hub for biomedical innovation and set the stage for future breakthroughs in patient-centered regenerative care.
